MG Brakes

MG braking system checked: Pads, Hydraulic fluid, Discs, Rotors Pipes, checked and changed as required based on manual service period

  • MG Slave Cylinders - Cylinder condition
  • MG Brake Pads - Correct brake pad movement and amount of wear
  • MG Brake Drums - Brake drum condition
  • MG Brake Callipers - Correct brake calliper operation
  • MG Hydraulic Pipes - Brake pipe Condition
  • MG Brake Discs - General brake disc condition

MG Cooling System Maintenance: Water Pump,Hoses, Control Valves, Temperature Sensors, Radiator

MG Coolant
MG Cooling System should be changed at the MG recommended service period using the appropriate coolant to water mixture and volume.
MG Radiator Pipes
Hoses should be checked regularly for brittleness, cracks or leaks. Damaged pipes should be renewed
MG Temperature Control
Problems with the MG Thermostat might be solved by changing the thermostat unit.
MG Coolant Pump
When the MG Coolant Pump circulates with cambelt power consider changing the water pump while servicing the timming belt

MG Timing Belt Replacement: Cambelt, Pulley (Idler), Pulley (Tensioner), Tensioner Spring, Cam Cover Gasket

MG Timing Belt - Cam Belt
MG Timing Belt should be changed at the MG suggested service period using the appropriate OEM or Performance Timing Belt. Consider Changing the camshaft and crankshaft oil seals.
MG Cam Belt Purpose
The Timing Belt transfers engine rotational information plus power from the crankshaft to the camshaft controlling valve operation to piston position
MG Engine Valves
The Timing Belt controls the Opening and closing MG Fuel-Air & Exhaust valves allowing fuel & air into the piston chamber while removing exhaust gases .
MG Timing Chain or Belt
When the MG uses a timing chain timing servicing can be increased greatly

MG Oil & Filter: Oil Service, Particle Filter, Engine Air Filter, Cabin Filter, Change Fuel Filter

MG Oil Service
MG Engines - Replace oil at regular service intervals. Quality Lube Oil protects metal surfaces, reducing friction, while giving protection from corrosion able to protect for 5000 miles or more.
MG Filter Change
Oil Filters should be replaced because they slow down oil flow with a fine coating of particles.
MG Inlet Air Filter, Diesel/Petrol Filter, Pollen Filter
Replace your MG Filters regularly, to help your engine breathe. Filters lose flow with dirt build-up. Check the MG Guidelines and change filters as recommended

MG Road Tyres - Tyres Replaced & Balanced

MG Tyre Fitting
MG Tyres - Replace road tyres when tyre tread wear. Look to see that wear is even.
MG Tracking
If tyre wear is irregular, make sure that the tracking is correct.
