BMW 3 Series Brakes
BMW 3 Series brake servicing. Inspection of BMW brake pipes, pads and brake operation.
Get your BMW brake system inspected: Hydraulic fluid, Discs, Rotors Pipes, Pads, checked and changed as required depending on manual service interval
BMW Coolant
Change BMW Engine Coolant according to the manual required service time with the correct coolant to water mixture and volume.
BMW Coolant Pipes
Inspect connecting pipes for flexibility, cracking, splitting, leaking. Damaged pipes should be changed
BMW Temperature Control
Problems with the BMW Thermostat might be solved by changing the thermostat unit.
BMW Water Pump
If your BMW water pump runs from your timing belt think about replacing the water pump when fitting a timing belt
BMW Cambelt (Timing Belt)
Change BMW Timing Belt based on the manufacturers required service interval with the right Cambelt. Consider Changing oil seals on the Cam Shaft and Crank shaft.
BMW Cam Belt Purpose
The Timing Belt transfers engine rotation plus power between the crankshaft and camshaft controlling valve operation to piston cycle
BMW Engine Valves
Timing belts synchronise BMW Valve inlets and outlet allowing fuel & air into the piston chamber while removing exhaust gases .
BMW Timing Chain or Belt
If the BMW is fitted with a timing chain; timing part servicing should cover a longer period
BMW Oil Service
BMW Engines - Replace oil at regular service intervals. Good Lubricating Oil protects moving parts, minimising friction, contains built-in corrosion protection able to protect for 5000 miles or more.
BMW Oil Filter
The Oil Filter should be replaced because they lose efficiency with a fine coating of sludge and dirt.
BMW Air Filter, Fuel Filter, Cabin Filter
Renew the filters as required; to maintain engine performance. Filters lose flow with dirt build-up. Check the BMW Guidelines and change filters as recommended
BMW Tyre Fitting
BMW Tyres - Replace road tyres when tyre tread wear. Check that tyre tread wear is not irregular.
BMW Wheel Alignment - Tracking
if any tyres wear is irregular, see if the BMW wheel alignment is not misaligned.
